How to fix Discord key binds problem on macOS
MacOS Catalina sometimes restricts the Discord application the access it need to work properly.
In this case, we need to allow Discord to be able to monitor our keyboard to record the desired key binds.
To do so, open your settings and go to “Security & Privacy”.
In this menu, look for the tab for “Privacy” and open it.
Then, navigate to the option for accessibility and find “Discord” in the list. Now, make sure that the tick box is checked against Discord.
If you are on an older macOS version, the option for Discord might not be in the accessibility page. In this case, go to the “Input Monitoring” page in the privacy tab to find the option.
Discord doesn’t recognize the microphone
If you are having problems with your microphone when using Discord, then there are several things to try.
First of all, make sure that you have granted permission to Discord for accessing your microphone.
To do that, go to the “Security & Privacy” page in your systems preferences.
Next, go to the “Privacy” tab and select “Microphone”. On this page, make sure that the tick-box against Discord is checked.
