Fixing the error on your Amazon Firestick, Blu-Ray player or gaming console
To solve this issue when using a Firestick, unplug your device from power for at least one minute, plug the device back in and turn the device back on with the Fire TV remote, then try Netflix again.
If this does not work then you can try resetting your Firestick settings. You can do this by pressing the Home button on your remote, going to “Settings”, “System”, “Restore to Factory Defaults” and then try to watch Netflix again.
If you’re trying to use your Blu-Ray player you should ensure that your network supports streaming. If on a public network, you can check with the admin to see if Netflix is possibly a blocked site.
When using cellular data or a satellite internet connection it might not be possible due to slower connection speeds, in this case, the only thing you can do is try a different network.
For your gaming consoles, you can unplug your machine and make sure the controller is also completely turned off. When it turns on, try Netflix again and it should be fixed.

Restarting your Smart TV is the first thing to try as is the same with all devices, simply unplug it from the mains and then allow it to restart properly before trying Netflix again.
On all devices, you can try to play another TV show or movie. If another title plays without issue, go to the “Viewing Activity” page and select the “Report a Problem link” next to the title that did not work.
You can also try restoring your default connection settings. If you’re connecting with a VPN or proxy service, disable it and connect directly with your home internet.
One last thing to try is updating the Netflix app through the relevant app or content store you downloaded it through as updates are not always automatically pushed through.
