Having Britbox loading issues? Fixed for Fire Stick, Chromecast and Roku

Let’s face it, from tea to the Queen and the drizzly weather, the UK isn’t exactly mindblowing, but if there’s one thing Britain can feel accomplished about it’s the TV it produces.

From Ricky Gervais in Extras to James Corden in Gavin and Stacey, there’s a tonne of comedy series that the UK is famed for.

And in 2017, Britbox was launched in the US providing our friends across the pond with access to all the best of British TV.

Whether you’re obsessed with Broadchurch or your guilty pleasure is in The Only Way is Essex, there’s something for all kinds of UK telly fans.

And while the streaming service has its great points, it looks like some customers have been experiencing BritBox loading issues, so let’s take a look at how to combat this problem.

How to install BritBox on Roku

If you’re the owner of a Roku digital media player then installing Britbox should be a breeze.

• Using the Roku remote control, you’ll need to click the Home button.
• Now, scroll to the Channel Store under ‘Streaming Channels’.
• Search for ‘Roku’ and select the app.
• You can either ‘Add’ or ‘Buy’ channels. Given that Britbox is a paid-for subscription service, you’ll need to be signed up to watch shows. However, this should be straightforward.
• Once the app has downloaded, you’ll be required to enter your login details for Britbox.

Having BritBox loading issues?

BritBox offers a flexible subscription service to a huge variety of great TV, but, like all techy things, it doesn’t come without the odd fault.

If BritBox isn’t loading it may be worth looking at your internet speed. Contacting your broadband provider to boost your internet speed could combat this issue.

Can you get BritBox on Firestick?

Yes, as of February 2020, BritBox is available to watch using Amazon Fire TV.

Previously, BritBox customers may have attempted to sideload BritBox on FireStick, downloading a BritBox apk, however, this is no longer required as the app is now downloadable through Fire TV.

Britbox offers a huge range of British TV shows including iconic soaps such as Eastenders and Coronation Street.
