If your router regularly disconnects, it is worth trying to update your router before anything else. This is how you update your router (and it is more than just plugging it back in again)

  • Make sure your device is connected to Virgin Media Hub 3 or 4, then open a browser and type in into the search bar.
  • Use your credentials to log in when prompted. These may be details located on the router box, or you may have changed this yourself.
  • Open the advanced settings page > then click SSID and change your details
  • Then run diagnostics before taking it out of modem mode.
