Cast BT Sport to Firestick
Many people use the BT Sport application on their Android or iOS smartphones.
The first method that comes to mind is to simply cast BT Sport to the Firestick. Unfortunately, the BT Sport application does not support casting to an Amazon Firestick.
Casting is only available to Chromecast and Apple TV. Even then, you might not be able to cast it, depending on the type of subscription you have.
If the BT Sport subscription came free with your EE Mobile contract or BT Mobile deal, then, unfortunately, you won’t be able to cast the application.

Mirror your screen to Firestick
Although BT Sport and Chromecast aren’t currently compatible, there are some other workarounds we suggest.
Screen mirroring means that you can essentially see everything that is being displayed on your smartphone on a TV.
Amazon Firestick supports screen mirroring with your smartphone.
So, even though you cannot cast the BT Sport app to your Firestick, no one can stop you from screen mirroring the BT Sport app via Firestick!
To be able to mirror the screen, make sure that the Firestick and the smartphone are on the same Wi-Fi connection.

Sideloaded apps
Let’s take a look at another way to enjoy BT Sport on your Amazon Firestick.
As long as you have paid for a BT Sport subscription, sideloading the app is a viable option.
It’s just as simple as installing the BT Sport app on the Firestick, it is an android-based device after all. However, the app is not available on the Amazon App Store, so you would have to sideload it.
If you haven’t sideloaded any app to your Firestick before, don’t worry, we’ll guide you through. Please follow the steps below.
- First of all, open the settings, then go to My Fire TV.
- After that, search for “developer options”, open and turn on “Apps from unknown sources”.
- After that is done, open the App Store and download the ES File Explorer app.
- Open ES File Explorer and click the “+New” button on the home page. It will open a pop-up.
- Paste this link (https://www.apkmirror.com/wp-content/themes/APKMirror/download.php?id=213645) in the “path”.
- This will download the APK file for the BT Sport app.
After the download is complete, open the file, and it will start the installation process. Once installed, you would be able to watch BT Sport on your Firestick just like on your smartphone!
